While Connie’s professional background is in traditional healthcare, her heart belongs to yoga! Seeking a kinder and gentler way to keep her body healthy and strong after a running injury sidelined her in 2008, she found yoga provided a way to do all that and much more. Connie’s slow flow classes feature plenty of mindful breathing and long, deep holds designed to open up space both physically and energetically. Her hope is that you leave your mat feeling more at ease in your body and lighter in spirit!
Connie completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in 2011 with Nicole Grant (Yoga Mandala, Winchester, MA) and Jen Ryan (The Yoga Loft, Wilmington, MA) followed by additional trainings in Yin Yoga with Josh Summers and SOMA System (myofascial release) with David Vendetti (South Boston Yoga). She is grateful to all of her teachers for the gifts they have shared with her.
