Years ago I chose yoga as a means to “find my body” after childbirth. If you’ve had a body altering event – childbirth, accident, surgery, whatever – you’ll know what I mean. Through my practice I have learned that yoga is so much more than a means to strengthen, stretch and tone. I have found centering, self-compassion, humor in my foibles, and community. I strive to bring these qualities to the studio. My hope is that my students find the space and opportunity for self-reflection, grounding, posture exploration, and, hopefully, a laugh or two whether they are just discovering yoga or experienced yogis.
